Reasons why there’s no real wordless wednesday

The charger for my camera is missing. I spent HOURS today turning the house apart to realize Sophia either snuck it in the trash and it’s long gone, cody put it somewhere we’d always be able to find it (which is usually some place neither of us think to look when we need it), or the elves carried it off. (Don’t you love how none of these involve ME misplacing it?! My knack for leaving things out is that they are out when I need them).

So instead I’m opening up the floor for more suggestions. We are doing a throw back picture today for two reasons.

1) This night I met some amazing people, and I’m pretty sure Cody remembers some interesting fact about this night. No I wasn’t wearing this the night we met, not officially met…someone stole the jacket so no fun meeting of people happened after this night in this jacket . More on this in a second. 2) This picture reminds me that I’m getting old. 3) I make pale look good. 4) I was in Germany which is always a good reason to post a picture. and lastly 5) there’s pieces of this picture I need help making happen again.

First, let’s look at my hair. I love it here. And I want it to look like this again. I’d really like if this happened in the next 5 months. So spill it hair growing experts. What do I need to do?
Second, lets look at my jacket. Someone stole it (I think even that night) from a coat rack at a small bar in Bad Windsheim. I was crushed. I loved that jacket. LOVED IT. Also it was snowing and I was freezing and I had to wait for a cab in the freezing while some nasty girl was keeping warm somewhere in my jacket.
Third, I am in Germany in this picture. And I’d really like to go back to Germany. If any of you are married to, related to, or are BFF’s to someone who can get me back to Germany for free…please…lets talk. (I am not a fan of human trafficking. So lets keep that from being the responses I get mmm k)
Fourth, do you see that thing behind me? Barely? I know I should have taken more pictures of it. I loved my little woman outline (I had a man one too). I got it at Ikea (along with most of the things in the room that you can’t see). It served no great function except I dolled it up for the seasons. It wore a hat a lei in the summer, it wore a scarf and knit hat in the winter. They were fun and always a good conversation piece. And I want them back. I want them back NOWAAAAA.

So lets review. I’d like my hair back to being that long in the next 5 months. Also I’d like that jacket back. Or a jacket JUST like it. (I looked on Wilson’s website (which is where I got it from) and they have something SORT of similar but it has a folding collar. This just had a zipper going all the way up that you could leave up or fold downish.) I’d like to be back in Germany. I can tell you all a very convincing story on why I need to go back. It has to do with recreating meeting my husband, eating amazing German food, and catching up with German friends (also a German friend of mine and her husband just had a beautiful baby girl and I’d love to visit her!). Seriously. If you can get me there, have your people call my people (my people are that contact button at the top – dooo it). And lastly I’d like these metal people outlines back in my life. I’d love them in my craft room. I think they’d be nice and cozy in there. And if you can get them to me I’m sure you’d agree. (PS I don’t think IKEA sells them anymore, so in order to get them I need us all to put on our creative hats!!)
